MessBuddy calculates the meal rate automatically using a simple formula: **Total Shared Grocery/Bazaar Expenses divided by Total Consumed Meals**. Once the meal rate is calculated, it multiplies the rate by each member's individual consumed meals, then adds custom charges (like room rent, cook bills, or utility bills) to generate the final monthly balance.
Yes. The mess creator is designated as the primary Manager. Under the settings panel, the manager can assign "Bazaar Operator" or "Co-Manager" roles to other members, allowing them to enter grocery records, log daily bazar costs, and update meal counts.
Absolutely. Once the monthly closing is processed, the manager can tap on any member's bill invoice card and select "Share via WhatsApp" or "Share via SMS". The app generates a clean text summary along with a downloadable PDF bill detailing consumed meals, rates, and individual splits.
Yes. MessBuddy includes a dedicated **Utilities** module. You can create custom categories (such as gas, electricity, internet, cook salary, house rent) and choose whether to split these costs equally among all members or assign them based on specific room assignments.
